Fatma Karakülah is a qualified Turkish attorney, registered with the Istanbul Bar Association since 2010. She is also a certified mediator (since 2023), a registered trademark attorney (since 2024), and a sworn English–Turkish translator. In addition to her legal practice, she actively mentors young lawyers and supports the growth of newly established law firms.
She holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and an LL.B. from Istanbul University Faculty of Law. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in trademark law at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
With over 15 years of legal experience, Fatma Karakülah has built deep expertise in a wide array of practice areas including contract law, corporate law, compliance, litigation, and cross-border dispute resolution. She has advised clients in sectors such as telecommunications, construction, energy, manufacturing, hotel management, media, e-commerce, transportation, and fintech.

Fatma is highly active in both national and international legal communities. She is an experienced ISO 27001 advisor and ISO 19011 internal auditor, supporting businesses through the legal aspects of certification, compliance programs, and quality management systems. She regularly advises clients on ISO certification processes and regulatory readiness.
Her LL.M. thesis titled "Compulsory Licensing in Pharmaceuticals under Turkish and Swiss Patent Law" reflects her academic depth in intellectual property law and the pharmaceutical sector. She has completed a wide range of advanced certificate programs in competition law, banking & finance, startup law, anti-money laundering, internal audit, telecom law, cyber law, and maritime law.
She has authored numerous legal articles on trademark law and commercial law and is an active member of the Istanbul Bar Association's Commission on Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights and the Continuing Legal Education Center.
In 2025, she expanded her practice to Cologne, Germany while continuing to operate her firm in Istanbul, allowing her to serve clients seamlessly across borders, particularly between Turkey, Germany, Switzerland, and the MENA region. Her firm, TURKIUS Law, is a proud member of the Worldwide Independent Lawyers League (WILL), through which she provides coordinated legal support in over 70 countries for matters involving Turkish and international elements.
She is also pursuing an associate degree in Banking and Insurance, following her experience managing a major international banking dispute in Paris.
As a mediator, she specializes in commercial, labor, and banking/finance disputes, in addition to providing mediation services in a wide range of civil law matters.
